An infrared (IR) photodiode is a semiconductor device that is sensitive to infrared radiation.IR photodiodes are designed to operate in infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum, and they work by absorbing photons and generating a flow of current.The greater the IR light intensity, the greater the photocurrent.
