Delivery and Freight Costs in Sweden

Elfa Distrelec's catalogue prices are given in Swedish Kroner excl. VAT and to the extent possible remain fixed for the valid period of the catalogue. The accurate daily price you find on www.elfa.se. Elfa Distrelec reserves the right to adjust prices caused by circumstances, which are beyond our control. If the supplier can't send us more articles, we have the right to cancel the order

Collection in shop
An option for all customers wanting their products being ready for collection in shop.

If you order products kept in stock in each respective shop, they are available for collection 2 hours after you have placed your order. If you place your order before 17.00 for products sent from our main warehouse, they are available for collection after 1-2 days. Enter your mobile telephone number in the reference box for text message notice when your products are available for collection.

Bulky, fragile goods as well as parcels weighing in excess of 35 kg. will be despatched in the most appropriate manner. In these cases, applicable delivery terms and delivery fees will apply. Delivery time 2-3 days. For a limited number of hazardous goods to Gotland, applicable delivery terms and handling fees will apply.

Returns

Commercial returns

Purchases may be returned or exchanged within 14 working days of the date of receipt. Items must be returned undamaged, in their original packaging and with carriage paid. Specially ordered material of any type that is not part of our normal range is excluded from this returns policy. Carriage must be paid on all returns.

For returns within 14 working days, an administrative charge of SEK 100 will apply. If you return items after 14 working days, the refunded price will be reduced by 20%. For returns within 3-6 months, the refunded price will be reduced by 50%. Where returns are made after 6 months, we have the right to refuse the return.

We do not accept returns of ESD products.

Where we are responsible for a fault, replacement deliveries requested before 3.00 pm will be despatched the same day. Requests received after 3.00 pm will be despatched the next day.

Reclamations

In all cases, complaints must be made within 12 months of the date of invoice. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check items received immediately upon delivery to identify any faults or other discrepancies in the order.

If the items are damaged when they arrive, the recipient must notify the freight forwarder immediately. If the items are insured, any damage should be reported to the recipient’s insurer. Other complaints should be made without delay to our Customer Service complaints team.

All complaints must have a returns number (RMA number). This can be obtained by e-mailing order@elfa.se or phoning Customer Service on +46 (0)20 75 80 00.

If the package does not have an RMA number when it arrives at the central warehouse, your return will be rejected. The RMA number is valid for 20 days. If we are responsible for the fault, we will cover the return carriage back to the central warehouse or we will ask you to return the items to the address provided by Customer Service using any freight forwarder.

Service and Repairs

Where items purchased from Elfa Distrelec require servicing or repairs, please always contact the complaints team at Elfa Distrelec before sending the goods back. When making a claim under warranty, the invoice/receipt must always be provided. In most cases, the warranty is for one year.

Technical Data Inaccuracies

We reserve the right to deviate from the dimensions or appearances specified in the Elfa catalogue. Such cases are generally due to the rapid technical progress in the sector and deviations will be minor in nature.

Out of Stock

If a product is temporarily out of stock from our warehouse, we will record the product or the entire order as backorder pending for the best delivery option. As soon as the product is in stock, it is immediately despatched free of charge within Sweden. For any inquiry on backorders, please contact customer service at order@elfa.se or +46 (0)20 75 80 00.

We reserve against deviation regarding stock. If the supplier can´t deliver, we have the right to cancel the order.

Force Majeure

Delayed delivery due to events which are beyond our control, exempts us from any liability. We can not accept any responsibility for the buyer's any agreements with third parties in the matter of compensation for delayed or incorrect delivery, manufacturing defects, etc., unless previously expressly agreed.

Product prices of Elfa Distrelec's assortment are presented both in the printed as well as on the website's electronics catalogue, shopping cart and check-out page.If different prices are presented for any given product at the same point in time, the correct price including the web discount is available on the check out page in the shopping cart on the website.

Payment Terms

15 days net (B2B customers) from invoice date unless other terms previously agreed upon.In the case of late payment, interest penalty will be charged in accordance with the interest law. We also offer card payment option with Mastercard, VISA and Pay Pal for purchases on our website.
For new registrered business customer we apply credit control.

Otherwise SEAL 2012 applies where appropriate. Refer to the PDF document.
