Returns

Commercial returns

Purchases may be returned or exchanged within 14 working days of the date of receipt. Items must be returned undamaged, in their original packaging and with carriage paid. Specially ordered material of any type that is not part of our normal range is excluded from this returns policy. Carriage must be paid on all returns.

For returns within 14 working days, an administrative charge of SEK 100 will apply. If you return items after 14 working days, the refunded price will be reduced by 20%. For returns within 3-6 months, the refunded price will be reduced by 50%. Where returns are made after 6 months, we have the right to refuse the return.

We do not accept returns of ESD products.

Where we are responsible for a fault, replacement deliveries requested before 3.00 pm will be despatched the same day. Requests received after 3.00 pm will be despatched the next day.

Private returns

If you return items that have been ordered in error within 14 working days, we offer a full right of return, provided return carriage is paid for the package. If you return items after 14 working days, the refunded price will be reduced by 20%. For returns within 3-6 months, the refunded price will be reduced by 50%. Where returns are made after 6 months, we have the right to refuse the return.

Reclamations

In all cases, complaints must be made within 12 months of the date of invoice. It is the responsibility of the buyer to check items received immediately upon delivery to identify any faults or other discrepancies in the order.

If the items are damaged when they arrive, the recipient must notify the freight forwarder immediately. If the items are insured, any damage should be reported to the recipient’s insurer. Other complaints should be made without delay to our Customer Service complaints team.

All complaints must have a returns number (RMA number). This can be obtained by e-mailing order@elfa.se or phoning Customer Service on +46 (0)20 75 80 00.

If the package does not have an RMA number when it arrives at the central warehouse, your return will be rejected. The RMA number is valid for 20 days. If we are responsible for the fault, we will cover the return carriage back to the central warehouse or we will ask you to return the items to the address provided by Customer Service using any freight forwarder.

Service and Repairs

Where items purchased from Elfa Distrelec require servicing or repairs, please always contact the complaints team at Elfa Distrelec before sending the goods back. When making a claim under warranty, the invoice/receipt must always be provided. In most cases, the warranty is for one year.

Technical Data Inaccuracies

We reserve the right to deviate from the dimensions or appearances specified in the Elfa catalogue. Such cases are generally due to the rapid technical progress in the sector and deviations will be minor in nature.
