I hope that you are keeping safe and well during this difficult time. Here at Elfa Distrelec, we have taken every possible measure to ensure the safety of our colleagues, the majority of whom are now working from home. As the situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19) changes daily my team and I are regularly monitoring developments and taking all necessary steps, to protect the safety of our colleagues and their families, as well as our customers and suppliers. Ultimately, it is the safety and wellbeing of our communities that we must all prioritise right now.
I want to reassure you that I am also doing everything I can to make sure service levels are impacted as little as possible. Fortunately, we have high stock levels on most products and my team are in daily contact with suppliers and carriers to ensure there is minimal supply chain disruption, which is certainly the case today, with most operating a normal service. Understandably, we are experiencing a high number of calls and whilst we remain fully staffed, I would encourage you where possible, to use our website and email channels to place orders, arrange deliveries, or to manage your account. My team have created this hub for you to access 24/7. Here we will keep you informed with the latest updates on service levels and potential stock shortages, as well as any relevant information relating to the Coronavirus and how it may impact our service to you.

FAQs
DHL are adding a 2.50 EUR surcharge on all shipments that are transported by air over 2.5kg plus additional surcharges for shipments over 50kg and 100kg.
As we are unable to accurately assess the weight of products and their packaging at the point of placing the order we will be applying a 2.50 EUR (or local currency equivalent) to all orders from 1 April 2020. We will also no longer be shipping orders over 100kg by air (we will use delivery by road instead). This is a temporary surcharge and change to our delivery methods - as soon as DHL remove it we will remove this surcharge and weight restriction from our customers.
This surcharge will only be applied to N1 (Normal to door) deliveries.
Elfa Distrelec has activated a Crisis Committee. On an hourly basis, we review information released by Governments and the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure we have robust measures in place to safeguard our people and minimize any impact to our business operations.
