Most of our path & angle converters are used on potentiometers where three terminal variable resistors are used to manually control the flow of electric current. Signal conditioners are used on potentiometers to convert an electronic signal to another type of signal. This may be to make them easier to read or better suited for use within a control system. Signal conditioners can be used to manipulate incoming signals and convert them, often from analogue to digital. They can also be used to increase the resolution of an input signal, filter signal frequency into valid data or to move a signal to a measuring device without having to add a new connection.
